ABOUT: THE INDIAN INSTITUTE OF ARCHITECTS (IIA) - RAJASTHAN CHAPTER

The Indian Institute of Architects (IIA) is the National body of Architects in the country. Established in 1917, the institute today has more than 20,000 members and plays a major role in promoting the profession of architecture by organising and uniting the Architects of India to promote aesthetic, scientific and practical efficiency of the profession both in Practice and in Knowledge.

IIA has 23 chapters, 54 Centres & 18 Sub centres.

Out of these various arms of the central IIA body, it’s our pride & privilege to convey that the IIA Rajasthan chapter is one of the most vibrant chapters. Having to its credit, the experience of successfully organising ARCAsia- a 21 Asian countries Architects Association – Forum & Roundtable meetings, NATCON & 2 YAFs the prestigious & distinguishing events in the realm of the architecture profession.

We continuously strive to empower the architecture profession & education by organising a series of events around the year like The Knowledge Sharing Series (KSS) & Social Interactive Series fostering camaraderie.

Apart from these, we are invited by various Govt. agencies over matters of public welfare by means of sharing insights on bye-laws formulation & other policy development initiatives.
